Throughout the years landscape has been a primary source of inspiration. This selection of travel sketches and plein air paintings comes from the standard way in which I document my trips. For me this traditional approach is more compelling than photography as I have to slow down and really engage in the environment. Observing elements and lighting first hand and being forced to record with limited time not only heightens the experience but my observational skills as well.
