Gaurdian of the Forest
Not long after I retired my studio and motorcycle were destoryed by an arsonist.
My plan had been to work quietly in my studio inspired by my garden and travel. After the fire
I retrieved materials from the destruction before the majority was carted off. As a collage and mosaic artist I was inspired by the possibilty to create and transform the remains. A South Dakota Artist Fellowship gave me hope and the resources to transform what fate had handed to me.
