Trinity is the name of the first nuclear blast Los Alamos detonated in the American South West. If you look closely the eye socket of the human skull is indicated by a balloon held by a child. This collage piece is formed by children's wallpaper from the 1940s.
It is currently touring with the South Dakota Governor's 8th Biennial Exhibition. The exhibit will tour the state of South Dakota for the next two years. It is on view at the Washington Pavilion until January 19, 2020.
